Caffeinated Soap

We’ve often talked about the benefits of taking caffeine internally, whether in coffee, tea, or caffeinated soft drinks or in pills or capsules.  But caffeine is also said to have a number of beneficial effects when applied topically, in the medium, for example, of creams, lotions, soaps, or shampoos.

According to a number of research studies by the Susan Lehman Cullen Laboratory for Cancer Research at Rutgers University, topically applied caffeine may prevent skin cancer.  A number of studies also support the contention that topically applied caffeine can cause fat cells to shrink and thus help dissipate cellulite and tighten skin.  Topically applied caffeine is also supposed to grow hair when hair on your head is thinning.

We don’t know of any of the topical products being sold today are effective.  We can only say that they very well might work and that, if you want to see what these products can do for you cosmetically, you might want to check some of them out for yourself.

A shower with Caffeinated Soap Peppermint Scent, for example, might be an enjoyable way to start your day.
