How much are you spending on coffee in a year? Maybe more than you realize.
A recent study shows that Americans consume an average of three large cups of coffee per day. Some of this coffee is made at home and doesn’t cost very much to brew. However, a great deal of this coffee is purchased at coffee shop and restaurant prices, which can really add up as the months roll on.
According to a new survey, more than half of American workers buy coffee regularly while at work, spending an average of $1,000 a year. The survey also revealed found that workers 18 to 34 spend more on coffee than workers over the age of 45. In addition, men spend more on coffee than women.
So, treating ourselves to coffee costs us a bundle. But we sure enjoy it and reap handsome benefits from consuming it and the caffeine it delivers to our sensoriums and our bodies!
